Rolleston. Myths & Legends of the Celtic Race:
I think this would be an exciting storybook where you would have plenty of places to be creative. My first instinct was to change to a different race. I would love to change the stories completely and just using this as a structure for my storybook. I think it would be very easy, and with a little bit of research on a different race, it could be quite interesting. I think this would also give a great representation of myth and folklore. There is nothing closer than getting to the myths of a certain race. As of right now, this is one of my top ideas for my semester project.

The King of Snakes:
I think this could be a great plot to start on. I think by changing it from a snake to a different animal, or maybe even a human would be a very unique twist on the tale. I think by making it a human you could make a chain of murders throughout the town and then have him caught or killed himself at the very end. It would be some sort of murder mystery or something like that. I think this is probably my favorite idea as of now.

Myths and Legends of California and the Old Southwest by Katharine Berry Judson:
I think this could be a great plot for a storybook. I could see myself writing about a different area of the USA and changing up the stories. I could even do maybe on how the USA was created altogether. I think this could give me plenty of ideas and endless outcomes for my stories. I think that no matter what way I took this it could be an interesting adventure.

Greek and Roman Ghost Stories:
I have been wanting to do a ghost story book for the past couple semesters so this is at the top of my list. I think being able to change it up and do a ghost theme would be great. There is plenty of opportunities and with research, I can bring in other stories as well. Overall I think this is going to be one of my top choices this Fall.
